Gym Class

So, my friend Randi signed up her little girl and Evan to be in a gymnastics class together. I said sure, that sounds like fun, plus it will get Evan out of the house. Well I didn't know what I got myself into until after the first class. I love my dear sweet boy, but OH BOY he can be a handful. He doesn't really know the concept of structured activities where you have to listen to a teacher and play follow the leader. He thought it was much better to run and do whatever he wanted. By the end of the first class I was so tired from running after him that it felt like I had gone to the gym for an hour. I do have to say that he does love the class and can't wait to get in the door, which makes us keep going. Maybe by the 8th class (as long as he doesn't put me into labor) he will be a little more used to the idea of structured activities. The last two classes have gone better with the help of my mother and friends. Even if Evan does one little thing better each week I call it a success. Here are a few pictures from when grandma was in town.

Hehe, that's cute. Good thing your Mom was there to help you that time. It's hard being preggo and chasing the toddlers. Maile is in gymnastics, but I don't go in there. She has a coach and parents watch from behind the glass.

Michelle!
I was looking at comments on an old post and I just saw yours. I haven't seen or heard from you in so long! Yes, CheyAnn is in my ward. She and her husband rent out our basement apartment and they babysit our boys twice a month. I'm sure she'd love to hear from you. Her blog is: theprestidges.blogspot.com
Love, Jaryn
